Dr. Tyler Smith is Kalion’s VP of Product Development. He became a leading expert on glucaric acid during his decade as CTO for Rivertop, an early glucaric acid innovator. He did his PhD under Professor D. Kiely at the University at Montana. He has 10 patents associated with glucaric acid. He has extensive experience in manipulating glucaric acid into various forms for commercial purposes. He uses this experience to tie efficient production of various forms of glucaric acid to cost effective applications for our customers.
